Launch GOGgles I just wanted to thank you for cluing me in to the gold mine that is Good Old Games (www. gog.com). For years I’ve been kicking myself for getting rid of gems like Arcanum and I was finally able to get the Total Annihilation expansions that I passed on many, many years ago. “Nothing?” How about the original StarCraft AHAHA— we kid. You may’ve noticed that Rome: Total War actually outranks SC2 in our Top 100 Games of All Time list, and Company of Heroes remains one of our highest scored games ever. And on the horizon, there’s Command & Conquer Generals 2 and, um...StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

It may not be a 100% guarantee, but for only $6.50, it’s certainly worth the greatly reduced risk, especially for people who plan to play multiple Blizzard games. I’m not sure if any of the other MMO companies plan to offer their own, but they really should!

We’re always happy to pimp the fine folks at Good Old Games! That said, it’s worth noting that the site has recently added new releases to its already fantastic roster of yore, with (relatively) recent stuff like The Witcher 2. As always, the cost is minimal and the DRM is MIA.
