COVER STORY
Build the best character:
Everything you need to stomp those Republic sissies on day one
Sith inquiSitor
Cruel manipulators with strong Force
powers, inspired by Emperor Palpatine
Specialization:
THE SORCERER (DPS)
“The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many
abilities some consider to be… unnatural.” See for
yourself that Palpatine wasn’t lying to Anakin by
wielding some of the most iconic powers in Star
Wars, like shooting lightning from your fingertips.
It’s also one of the most balanced ability sets,
with a healthy dose of offense, defense, burst
damage, and area-of-effect attacks.

Recommended crew skills:
Inquisitors crave power, and we all know
that credits = power. Since you’re going to
be rummaging through old sith temples
anyways, why not grab Archaeology and
Scavenging to help you spot the sellable
loot inside? Underworld Trading’ll
provide the connections you need to
move those “recovered” goods and grant
access to some rare metals you can sell to
other players at a steep price.
imperial agent Hidden infiltrators, manipulators, and assassins, inspired by Bothan spies
Specialization:
THE OPERATIVE (Healer)
Not every agent is a killer. Some are more com-
fortable hanging in the back of firefights, behind
the safety of cover, to control the flow of battle
with healing probes. When things get sticky,
Operatives still heal extremely well on the move,
using skills to evade the enemy’s grasp.
Full Skill Tree:
First major storyline: Terrorists
are attacking the general population of
the Empire, and it’s your job to infiltrate
these terrorist cells, earn their trust, and
take them down from within to keep the
average Joes of Empire territory safe. Even
more importantly, you need to find out
who’s pulling the strings behind the
scenes and put a stop to the attacks.
Specialization:
THE SNIPER (DPS)
Snipers. You either love ’em or hate ’em. TOR’s
Snipers are just like their FPS brethren: they have
the longest range of any player in the game, they
hide (some might say, like total sissies) behind
defensible cover, and their crazy damage output
will take you out before you even notice where
they’re camped at.

Recommended crew skills:
If James Bond has taught us anything, it’s
that the slickest spies know how to
gamble. Treasure Hunting and Slicing
missions can provide the lucky with vast
riches, while Diplomacy allows the Agent
to exert his shadowy influence throughout
the Galaxy.
